Rainbow Without Colours

Movie Summary

It was a full moon day in July, a day on which many Vietnamese believe spirits of the dead can return home. Mrs Yen was sleeping and she dreamt about Hung – her elder adopted son, who died many years ago. Why is Hung’s spirit returning? Is it to seek revenge for his death? – Mrs. Yen’s dream is a consequence of the relationship between her biological son and her adopted son. When they announced their love to the family, Mrs. Yen was devastated. She could not accept it and her efforts to keep them apart may have driven Hung to his death. Review

Warning this is a tearjerker. Rainbow Without Colours starts weird, but you should continue watching it because of it’s worth it. I want to thank the actors and actresses in Rainbow Without Colours for a fantastic job. I felt the emotions of the characters. Rainbow Without Colours is a movie that shows that you sometimes meet the middle ground for the ones you love. The father finds out, at first, I think he didn’t approve. However, he realizes that the older brother would them protest the young brother from anything. I think he slowly started to accept it. The sister realizes that they were in love, and separating them would cause them pain. Rainbow Without Colours is a massive example of how falling in love and losing our love can make someone go crazy. It also has the considerable theme of accepting your kids or family or friends for who they are and not trying to make a square fit in a triangle hole. It shows the problem with society. I mean, you don’t have to like two same-sex marriage. However, is your hate worth losing a person in your life? Would you watch this again? Yes, it made me think about what you should cherish in your life and accept people for who they are.

Review

Love’s Coming is amusing. Love’s Coming is more innocence love’s with some comedy. Gump’s friends are people we wish to surround ourselves and have in our lives. They supported him and genuinely cared. Love’s Coming has some cringy/secondhand embarrassment in the beginning. I like how they show us how the main couple falls in love. I enjoy Nai’s girlfriend, Soda. She really could see that he wasn’t in love with her and made the decision that you have to let go when you know the other is in love. She even showed some support for Gump and Nai relationship. I do have to say one character that I enjoy that wasn’t the friends was the Aunty Character. I like that he told his story of heartbroken love. I know it would end sad and break my heart, but I would watch a short film about the Aunty’s story because past to present different and it’s a story that happens in real life over and over again to people across the globe.
