Review

“The Moment ” I Need You is a mini-series that shows the fluffy love between a vet and a bartender. It shows the growth of the vet personality by giving up his passion for an ex-girlfriend and giving it to someone else. Weirdly, the vet was trying to get away to have a breather, and his ex shows up. This show is concise and fluffy; ending is up to the audience. The acting was good. I love how the music played throughout the show, and sound effects were entertaining. Would I watch it again? I really can’t say, it was short and felt like something you should watch over and over again.

Revenge Season 1

Series Summary

An emotionally troubled young woman sets out to exact revenge against the people who wronged her father. (Source)

Genre

Review

Revenge Season 1 is just the show if you like action pack revenge. Amanda/Emily is your main character trying to get vengeance on the family and their associates that cause her and father’s lives to end. I feel like anyone who just had someone ruin their lives would love to help or be in Amanda/Emily’s shoes. You will connect with the characters even if you don’t want to. The actress who plays Amanda/Emily also plays Sharon Carter in the Marvel Universal. The acting is just fantastic and believable. I enjoy that from the beginning and end of the season; you can see the character development. The setting is just beautiful and average looking at the same time. I like that you know the past to see how a character acts a certain way. Would you watch it again? Yeah, the plot had my attention. The only problem I had is they could have ended the season a little bit early on in the season.

Sleepover

Movie Summary

Desperate to improve their social status, four best friends enter into an all-night scavenger hunt against the popular clique in their school. (Source)

Genre

Review

Sleepover is a 2000’s teen film that any girl wanted to have a moment of telling the popular bully that she isn’t better than anyone else due to her having a high school boyfriend when she just became a freshman in high school. I love how I remember knowing I had watched this movie in my past and told my sister to watch this movie. The longer we watch this movie, the more we more actors that are popular now, in the past ten years or just in your childhood. This film is just so funny. The writing is cheesy, but at the time that it got released, it was good. I recommend this movie for anyone who grew up in the late ’90s to mid-late 2000’s Disney. I love the fact that the main guy didn’t get about them stealing his underwear. This film is just something I was laugh pretty much throughout the whole movie. Would I watch this again? Yeah, this movie was just a nostalgia film that you come to love and enjoy.

Before I Love You: Mek x Mork

Series Summary

Often love is not a coincidence. But it is caused by friends of friends! (Source)

Genre

Review

Before I Love You: Mek x Mork is a short story about two friends trying to set up their friend Mork. It is sweet that they were thinking about their friend. But there are a few flaws like they didn’t even know if Mek liked guys or was trying to date anyone. The acting is cheesy. The music was the same soundtrack for the rest of Before I Love You series. I think this needs more time to developed by like 5 minutes. Would you watch it again? No, it just was not something I would watch it again.

They are ambitiously dispatched to South Korea, where each disguises himself as a fool, an aspiring singer, and a high school student. Passing boring time without receiving any orders from the North, they gradually get used to life as ordinary neighbors in a small town until one day, their mundane lives are turned upside down when a “secret and great” mission is suddenly assigned to them. Review

Secretly, Greatly a movie that took me for a surprise. I love the soundtrack that producers use for the film in fight scenes throughout the whole thing. I will say there is a little bit of bromance if you read between the lines. How I found this movie was a bl or bromance compilation video. I love how the actors portray their characters. I didn’t expect the ending to make me weep. The end is guessable, but I think as audience members we hope for the opposite. I won’t tell you if the tears were happy or sad tears. I will say I expected a whole different movie from the summary, but I’m satisfied with it. I feel like how they portray the three main characters having a brotherly bond play with the audience’s emotions. I enjoyed that the main focus was that they all had someone close to their hearts that they would rebel their whole country. Would I watch it again? I don’t think I would personally, however, I would watch it if I were showing someone who has never seen it or if it was on a streaming series available in my country.

Before I Love You: Rain x Storm

Series Summary

Believe that university, aside from being a learning center Is also a learning center (Source)

Genre

Review

Before I Love You: Rain x Storm is the beginning story for how Rain and Storm became a couple. The story is a little over 10 minutes long. Rain does do somethings we would call crazy stalker things like drinking from the same bottle. But Rain also does sweet stuff like buy Storm food. It was a good clip to watch. The music had a great choice, and the actors did an excellent job. Would you watch it again? Yeah, it was short and adorable.

Episode 2 of Before I Love You Series

The King and the Clown

Movie Summary

At the height of the 16th-century Chosun Dynasty, a pair of rural male actors – boisterous, macho Jang Seng and quiet, feminine Gong Gil – travels to Seoul and team up with a struggling acting troupe. When their irreverent show, complete with enough bawdy humor and gender-bending to make a contemporary audience blush, mocks the famously hedonistic king, they get more than they bargained for. After being promptly arrested, they’re given a chance to spare themselves if they can make the king laugh. To everyone’s surprise, the ecstatic monarch loves the show and names the actors official court jesters, giving them more extravagant food and shelter than they’d ever imagined. But the king’s attentiveness to Gong Gil makes it quickly apparent that humour isn’t the only thing motivating his generosity. The king’s mistress, the country’s ministers and Jang Seng soon grow suspicious, and jealousy and anger spring from all sides. (Source)

Review

The King and the Clown is a shocking masterpiece that takes a moment to process. This movie would not make in today’s world for the fact that the comedy style for the acts in dirty and sarcastic. The actors and actresses are what make you feel what the character is going through. The two main clowns/characters had a bond that is just something people wish for in their lives, the close friendship of that make you feel like they are brothers. However, they are not brothers by blood but by choice, which is why I’m glad that the two main characters are not romantically involved with each other. You do have to read between the lines for the boy love scenes in the movie because they show the bare minimum. I identify that the background of the king is something you would read in a history book. The king’s character is someone who had thing force or taken away from him that causes the person who he is today. He is out of control at scenes which make you fear him, but he pulls you back in with the soft unseen side of him that makes you feel sorry for him. The main two characters have moments too that make you feel for them. I won’t say what, for I fear to spoil it for anyone who wants to see it. But I can give you a hint with a sentence. As much as we don’t want to make sacrifices, someone one will have for things we need to live and express ourselves. The ending was not what I expected at all. The end is all from how the audience has seen it. Would I watch it again? I feel like it something I would watch again one or two more times but not something worth bingeing over and over again.

Before I Love You: Phu x Tawan is about how Tawan and Phu became a couple. This video is part of a series, film-like episodes are seven minutes long. This episode is all puppy love, and the first crush, which is just adorable and fluff. I would recommend it. Would you watch it again? Yeah, it short and sweet, and the company itself posted it on YouTube, which is very helpful so that other countries can see it.

The Black Devil and the White Prince

Movie Summary

**Sequal to Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai**

Akahane Yu moves to a dormitory room after her father’s transfer from work. She is excited that she will live in the same dorm as Shirakawa Takumi aka “White Prince.” Yet, Kurosaki Haruto aka “Black Devil” kisses her as punishment for going against him. It is Yu’s first kiss. Since then, she becomes obedient to Kurosaki Haruto. (Source)

Genre

Review

The Black Devil and the White Prince is funny and straightforward. The movie has some severe and just humorous moments. I love the relationship between Yu and Meiko, where they communicate and are trustworthy to each other. I do think the primary guys’ relationship ending on a good note. I do like that you can see maturity with the characters, which is fantastic because most of the time the growth is little to none or just a whole new role created. I would say watch the two episodes series; first, it just give you more information on the characters. I did love the two background guy character; they add a little humor and realistic feeling to the story. I did enjoy the whole movie and the ending. I feel like, at times, there were yaoi moments between Haruto and Takumi. However, I have been watching a lot of BL series and films. My brain is probably still on that mindset. I feel like if they want to pull a plot twist on the audience, it would we find out that Haruto and Takumi are or become a couple. Or, Meiko and Yu become a couple and end with the school finding out but put a scene where the girls who pulled the trick on Yu find out that the Princes are unavailable. Would you watch it again? Most likely not because I was wary about this series because of the different opinions that I have seen on videos and wiki pages/review sites.

Part 2 of Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai Series

Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai

**Story takes place one month before the movie.”**

Akahane Yu moves to a dormitory room after her father’s transfer at work. She and Haruto aka “Black Devil” have the worst meeting. Since then, Haruto treats her like his slave. The only person who is kind to her is Takumi aka “White Prince”.

Haruto orders Yu to go to her middle school reunion, but Yu, who doesn’t want to remember her middle school days, refuses. At this time, Suzune appears. She is a childhood friend of both Haruto and Takumi. Due to her, the relationship between Yu, Haruto and Takumi changes. (Source)

Genre

Review

Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai is comic series. Akahane Yu moves to a new school where she faces challenges like trying to push herself out of her shell by standing up to people, make friends, and getting a boyfriend. Akahane Yu does this for herself to build her self-esteem after being bullied in her past school. In the new school, Akahane Yu meets a set of boys who are long term friends. One is standoffish, cold, and strict, who Akahane Yu calls a demon or black devil whose name is Kurosaki Haruto. The other friend is charming and sweet, who Akahane Yu calls an angel or a white prince who called Shirakawa Takumi. The show deals with problems like what if two best friends like the same person, healthy relationships, and fear of what-ifs if you look closely at the plot. I do like the Akahane Yu for the reason that she tries her best to make friends and say what she’s thinking. Shirakawa Takumi and Kurosaki Haruto give me a weird feeling like the Shirakawa Takumi has a naughty side by play a fake relationship with Akahane Yu.
Nevertheless, Kurosaki Haruto is toxic by calling Akahane Yu his slave, forcing her to do chores and pushing her/ pulling her hair. But everyone puts walls to protect themselves. Some walls are just harder to break down. I hope that Shirakawa Takumi and Kurosaki Haruto friendship does get ruin by fighting over a girl. In a way, you want all characters to have a happy ending. Would you watch it again? I don’t know since there is a movie that takes place a month after the series. I have to wait and see.
