Review

Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey 2 is season 2 of Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey, and it is a mess. I’m going to start by saying for some reason I couldn’t pay attention to the relationship drama between Emma and Porsche. I really can’t tell you anything that was going on with between their scenes. I even struggled to watch the Pick and Rome scenes because it was just a drama f**k. I wish this had been thought out and written better, but they just wrote the main point while being drunk. They should not have put added drama with Emma and Porsche. They should have been like Pick and Rome were in the first season but together. I do have to say I’m just glad that Our Sky is happening so I can get more on Pick and Rome’s relationship. The ending is all right. Would you watch it again? I don’t know. I felt bored for most of it. However, I am the type of person who tortures themselves.

Review

Rebirth is a Chinese movie made after the Chinese ban on LBGT+ media implemented. So you don’t get to see kissing or the “big” factor of them being in a relationship, but you can tell the actor, director, and everyone else who help make the movie made sure you could feel that they were in a romantic relationship by simple the closeness and a hug. However, since we have amazing people in the world, they have found the ending kiss scene/bed scene. I will say the movie is too short and has moments where it lacks natural development that you see in many films. However, it, not the worst I have ever seen. I enjoy it for the aspects of the movie. I wish that the ban gets lifted and they could remake it into a tv series. Then we could see the development of their relationship. I want to say all the actors and actresses did a fantastic job. You start to hate some characters. However, I don’t want to spoil who. Would you watch it again? Yes, it a movie little over an hour long and it has its sweet moments.

Review

Dark Blue and Moonlight is just a roller coaster ride. It shows infinity and destiny that play in a relationship. The leading character/pair you are going to either hate or love. I think this show is more realize too how the world works. It shows the what-ifs of life. I will say I like the characters Yan Fei and Ping Jun. Yan Fei notices his relationship didn’t have the love and passion that they did before, so he broke up. Ping Jun is just another story. I feel like most viewers love him because he is a likable character. The acting was average, but the kisses and sex scenes were intense then I have seen in other BL series/movies. The central theme in this if you have to let them go and if they genuinely love you, they will come back. If you end at episode 12, you will have an open ending. However, they have made 3 or 4 additional episodes that take place three years later. Would you watch it again? Mostly not because it is a languid pace at the beginning. I started to struggle with watching this.

Method

Movie Summary

A veteran actor and an idol are starring together in a play called ‘Unchain’.
In the play, their characters become involved in a relationship and as they rehearse, the distance between reality and fiction starts to get blurry… (Source)

Genre

Review

Method is up to the audience on what they think is happening. It is hard to tell what is real and what is acting in the movie. The acting is impressive and something that needs more attention. Method is the type of film where you have to see it several times and still not know what the exact point of view that the writers are trying to get to the audience. I would read the comments on MyDramaList after watching it. The plot discussed, and you can hear the different point of views that the audience saw. Would you watch it again? Yeah, I like to see if I can notice anything I didn’t notice the first time watching this.

Water Boyy The Series

Series Summary

This series is based on the 2015 movie Waterboyy. Waii is the most popular member and captain of the Ocean College swimming club. He has a difficult relationship with his father who is also the team’s coach. Apo is the latest swimmer to join the club and Waii’s new roommate. (Source)

Genre

Review

Water Boyy The Series is entirely different from the movie. I would say wait a few days after watching one to watch the other. The cutest scene in the series is the one with the blind man. I think it helps people realize who is faithful and who is the only here for you for this phase of your life. I felt like sometimes I was like addicted and then other times just felt like it dragged. The female coach gives me creepy pedophile vibes. I think the ending was to satisfies straight people more than the lgbt+ community. I felt like the end occurs rushed. Water Boyy The Series is label as BL but has more plot about the side straight couples than the actual main couple. I think most people fell in love with the relationship between Kluay and Ashi because of all the bad tropes with the main couple. Would I watch it again? Maybe if there was a second season which focuses more on the main couple or the relationship between Kluay and Ashi.

Friend Day the Series

Series Summary

A short series focusing on friendships and love. Even though this is sponsored by a Thai food company (expect product placements) each episode is a cute and happy slice-of-life story. (Source)

Genre

Review

Friend Day the Series is just a commercial for a Thai food company, but it sweet and unique. It shows the beginning of the relationship between friends. It sometimes shows you can’t be with everyone you like. Would you watch it again? Yeah, it’s short and sweet.

Genre

Review

Long Time No See is an excellent short series that has a unique plotline. The acting is brilliant. In this series, you feel the love they have for each other. I wish it wasn’t so quick and had had the time to developed better. However, this series is an underappreciated series. This series has violence in it. Even though the series is about assassins/hitman, it has it just sweet lovey moments that make you fall in love with the main characters. I would recommend this series if you have about an hour and 30 minutes to waste. The only bad part of the series was the ending. I don’t know why I didn’t like it and its not something you expect from the series. Would you watch it again? Yes, I would watch this and get my friends interested in this. It’s so sweet and lovely.

The Moment

Movie Summary

The story of young people traveling to big cities in the dream to do the same thing as new generations around the world. But back to find someone. Which changes their goals? (Source)

Genre

Review

The Moment starts at misplacing place. It can be confusing a little if you don’t have a mind that fills up the parts of the story that are missing. The ending leaves you guessing on what happens. I really can’t explain the real problems without spoiling it for everyone. I can say it ends with a cliffhanger and you the watcher have to fill up what you think to happen. It feels like it a sequel or prequel to another thing. It feels unfinished. I felt like it just dragged on like a waiting room in a doctor office. You are expecting something to pick up or develop to catch your attention, but there are too many loose ends at the end. I would recommend this to someone because it may just not be a movie for me. Would you watch it again? No. I feel like there are numerous missing pieces in the story. I got bored of it quick. I did enjoy what I think are the end couples.

Review

Okay, I am going to be upfront with everyone. If you have any terrible experience with rape, consent, or stalker-like obsession with someone, DO NOT WATCH THIS!!!!! HIStory: Obsessed has the key components to cause someone who has been through that situation to have a panic attack. I know that the writers, producers, and directors were trying to play this off like they were destined to be together. The story is a beautiful theme. It just hits on the line on consent and nonconsent. I appreciate the work that when to the series. Still, I would be careful about watching this if you don’t like or can’t stand those themes. The acting is incredible and realistic that it made me cry. I warn but still, encourage people to watch this. Would you watch it again? Most likely. I enjoyed the facts of destined love. This series is where love is never changing.

Genre

Review

HIStory: My Hero starts a little cheesy, however in an enjoyable way. I would not recommend watching this if you are under the age of 13 because it does show something that is considered “sexual.” It may just be me when it comes to awkward moments, I get second-hand embarrassment, and it has those moments. Four episodes are about 20 minutes long. One of my favorite things is when Lan Xi possess Gu Si Ren; the thoughts are in Lan Xi’s voice. It is humorous to watch. This series can make you open eyes to those you fall in love with. It has a good lesson to anyone about love. Would you watch it again? Maybe, if I was bored and wanted to watch something.
