Series Summary

Another part of the HIStory web series follows the story of Shao Yi Chen, a man who dies in an accident involving his boyfriend, Jiang Jing Teng. Shao Yi Chen is reborn and sent back 9 years. To save his future self he avoids Jiang Jing Teng and avoids his feelings for him. Problem is Shao Yi Chen has loved Jiang Jiang Teng for a long time and has written about him in his diary. While destroying the diary, Jiang Jing Teng discovers a few pages. Causing Jiang Jing Teng to become curious about Shao Yi Chen. Will he resist the love of the handsome man Jiang Jing Teng and save his future self, or will he fall for the same man twice and risk his life? (Source)

Okay, I am going to be upfront with everyone. If you have any terrible experience with rape, consent, or stalker-like obsession with someone, DO NOT WATCH THIS!!!!! HIStory: Obsessed has the key components to cause someone who has been through that situation to have a panic attack. I know that the writers, producers, and directors were trying to play this off like they were destined to be together. The story is a beautiful theme. It just hits on the line on consent and nonconsent. I appreciate the work that when to the series. Still, I would be careful about watching this if you don’t like or can’t stand those themes. The acting is incredible and realistic that it made me cry. I warn but still, encourage people to watch this. Would you watch it again? Most likely. I enjoyed the facts of destined love. This series is where love is never changing.

Review

Summerdaze is 4 minutes video about a friend falling in with their best friend. It quick but shows the stages a relationship goes through when falling in love with someone you have always had in your life. It shows the realization about oh crap I’m in love with my best friend. The courage you have to make a move finally. The shock that your friend has when they realize you like them more. The struggle of being separated from each other to think over what has happened. Then the feelings that you have for your friend recuperate back to you. It is lovely and innocent love that we all wish we had. Would I watch it again? Yes, because of it being short, you understand the feeling that these characters have. The actors acted in these scenes naturally. I would recommend watching it for yourself.

HIStory: Stay Away From Me manage to keep my attention the whole time. I have to say it had a new plotline for me. The actors and actresses in this are amazing! This plot is always played out in Wattpad stories and what if in fanfictions. However, this is the first time I have seen it in a tv series or movie. I feel like you can connect to the characters. I know that if you have the feels that a fangirl has, you will connect with Meng Meng. I notice that if you are a crier when it comes to emotional moments, you will cry. However, it depends on you to decide if it is happy or sad tears. The only problem I had was it was too short! I need more! An hour and 10 minutes are too short. Would you watch it again? Yes, I would watch this again. This series is by far been my favorite in the HIStory’s series. It is just sad that it does not have more audience to them.

Review

All right, everyone, Tom Gay has a unique idea. However, it doesn’t full up to it. The whole story feels rushed, and there is no development. I know this movie is a small budget movie that made more than half a decade ago. However, the directors and writers still could have done more. The acting was okay. The end is disappointing. Most series and movies teach you a lesson at the end, and this film had nothing for you to learn from the plot. The two relationships are quite toxic in a way which makes the characters have no growth. The characters don’t learn anything. I would not recommend this to anyone. Would you watch it again? No, I would not watch this movie again. I might if it got remade with a high budget and change like the whole thing. When I read the summary, I thought that the partners of the kidnap would be the one ones to save their loved ones.

HIStory: My Hero starts a little cheesy, however in an enjoyable way. I would not recommend watching this if you are under the age of 13 because it does show something that is considered “sexual.” It may just be me when it comes to awkward moments, I get second-hand embarrassment, and it has those moments. Four episodes are about 20 minutes long. One of my favorite things is when Lan Xi possess Gu Si Ren; the thoughts are in Lan Xi’s voice. It is humorous to watch. This series can make you open eyes to those you fall in love with. It has a good lesson to anyone about love. Would you watch it again? Maybe, if I was bored and wanted to watch something.

I made this blog for people who are looking for honest reviews of tv series and movies. I hope that I can warn people who have triggered by specific topics. Still, encourage people who are looking for something new. I plan to post two times a week.

Schedule

My schedule is the 2nd and 4th full week of the month

Wednesday is tv series reviews and

Friday is movie/short film reviews.

How will you review?

The tv series reviews are going to be review as the whole season/series. I will try my best not to spoil the series. However, I can’t make any promises.

My movie reviews will be one long review if the movie doesn’t have prequels or sequels. If it does, I will make a review of each film.

What format will the review be in?

Tv Series reviews will be the summary of the episode or series that the writers have written, my recap of my thoughts, and my rating out of 5 stars. I intend to link where I got the summary and where you can watch the series.

Movie reviews will be in the same format as tv series reviews.

Can we send in any recommendations?

Yes, I will try to review anything sent to me. However, it may take a while for you to see the review. Still, remember I have some limits to find your suggestions. I only have Xfinity, Netflix, and free sites that I can view. I only speak English. If this series is in a different language, please help me find a version with English subtitles. I am very open-minded to various series from across the globe.
