Season 2 of the “Mr. X and I” series. This time the story focuses on Xu Zhengxi, a boy who unexpectedly found himself falling in love with his straight best friend Tao Ye. (Source)
Mr. X and I Season 2 is frustrating. I had to take a break in the middle of it because I want to slap people. One, why the f*** would you choose your new girlfriend over your best friend? Two, why would continue to invite your friend knowing he like you? Three, why would you continue to go when your ex-friend ask you to come to things? All I can say is the acting is impressive to get me this frustrated. The whole theme of this was you need to move on when someone who will not love you in public and will forever pick others over you. Would you watch this again? No, it is quite dull to me, and the ending is not the happiest.
Continued from part 1, both Xie Yan and Shu Nian were still unable to deal with their feelings for each other, but Xie Yan realizes that Shu Nian is the one for him, but Shu Nian continues to hide from Xie Yan. Meanwhile, Ke Luo created a ruckus in the company’s dinner organized by Xie’s Holdings, but is saved by Shu Nian for the second time. Xie Yan is then sent overseas for a project, and Shu Nian and Ke Luo gets closer after celebrating Ke Luo’s birthday. Eventually, Ke Luo confessed his feelings to Shu Nian, who will soon be away to study, but the latter’s heart is still with Xie Yan. Xie Yan later breaks up with Jiang Yao, and Xie Yan’s mind confusion has an impact on his future fiance, Xia Jun. Xia Jun uses her crafty ideas to get to Xie Yan, but later Xie Yan tells Xia Jun that he has already gotten a new love and that the person is Shu Nian. Soon, Jiang Yao who is unable to deal with the breaking up with Xie Yan, engages some men to rape Shu Nian, but Xie Yan saves him. Later Xia Jun contracts food poisoning and is sent to the hospital. Shu Nian is later fired by Xie Yan’s father, after confessing to Xie Yan that he was the one who poisoned her. In the end, the medical report is produced, showing that Xia Jun’s food poisoning is due to the three cups of mocha that she had drunk hours before she was about to meet Shu Nian. Devastated that his father has sent Shu Nian away, Xie Yan’s relationship with his father sours, particularly since the older Xie already knew about the relationship between Xie Yan and Shu Nian. Irresistible Love 2 is fantastic if you get the happy ending version. There is a scene that almost goes into rape, but the person realizes before he could get any clothes off that he was hurting the one he loves. All I can say is that Shu Nian needs to be protected. I feel like the characters were in love before they knew they were in love with each other. Irresistible Love 2 is charming and shows the flaws that Xie Yan has. It has a proper meaning where you realize your faults when you found true love. Would I watch it again? Yes but only the happy ending. I was not emotionally prepared for crying my eyes out for the sad end.
Mr. X and I-Promise You A City just made me feel nothing. I feel sorry for the one that got cheated on in Mr. X and I-Promise You A City. However, I don’t feel sorry for the cheater. I mean you cheated, what do you expect for them to stay together with you when you can’t wait for them. Would I watch this again? No, not really. It just shows that everyone gets cheated on no matter your sexual orientation.
A young Shu Nian is a lonely kid who is living in an orphanage, where he hopes to find a good family that loves him. This is when Xie Yan, the son of a real estate magnate, adopts him. The latter is two years older than Shu Nian. Twenty years later, Xie Yan returns home from London after spending six years abroad and is reunited with Shu Nian. Shu Nian bumps into Ke Luo, who is also adopted from an orphanage and is a 20% shareholder of Ke’s Holdings. Both Shu Nian and Ke Luo become close; Shu Nian treats Ke Luo as his little brother. On the other hand, Jiang Yao, a ruthless and crafty girlfriend of Xie Yan starts to plot her revenge against Shu Nian after Xie Yan dumps her, as Jiang Yao found out a secret that involves a box full of photos of Xie Yan. Xie Yan is homophobic and doesn’t know that Shu Nian is gay, and to make matters worse, Shu Nian falls for Xie Yan, and Xie Yan manages to find out and asks him to leave. Soon after Xie Yan realizes that Shu Nian is the only one who can help to cool off his hot temper and gradually has a different feeling about him. (Source)
Irresistible Love – Secret of the Valet starts by introducing the characters and how they meet. Xie Yan is a unique character where he has terrible qualities like being greedy and selfish but still have respect for his employees. He greedy about Shu Nian like a childhood teddy bear where you had it from your time as a baby and kept it with you even in adulthood. Shun Nian knows him, and that help Xie Yan realize his feelings. The movie follows your attention. I’m having trouble describing the film. Their relationship is unique and special that needs to be cherished for the rest of their lives. Would I watch it again? Oh yeah, it a movie that I pause through once. I have trouble viewing things alone because I get second-hand embarrassment or just too much fluff in one scene that I need to pause and take the fluff in spoon fulls, not the whole bottle. However, there is a part two; it can change my mind.

A happy gay couple celebrates their third anniversary but the relationship is threatened by a mother who wants her only son to have a proper family with kids. The other guy is willing to sacrifice the relationship so his boyfriend can be happily married to a woman. (Source: I got this summary from KainGuru’s review)
Mr. X and I – The Groomsman ending is not the happiest. Mr. X and I – The Groomsman shows the dynamics of traditional Chinese culture. The fact that people have sham weddings to make their families happy is sad. Families don’t realize that arrange marriage does more bad than good. It’s worsted if the spouse that you don’t love doesn’t know from the beginning. It shows the sacrifices that Eastern civilization does to make their blood family happy. People of western culture/civilization, don’t have the duty of getting married to make their family happy by sacrificing their happiness. I don’t know how common it is in eastern culture. In this episode, the main reason for the sham marriage is gossip and respect from the community. Would I watch it again? I don’t know. I know I would recommend it to people to see how different parts of the world deal with specific situations.

Warning this has a rape scene in it. Okay, the actors are amazing for acting out this movie. I feel conflicted because if the world wasn’t against them, and they communicated, they would have a good love story. However, since they don’t communicate with each other, it caused this movie plot to occur. Since Lu Feng is greedy and spoiled, he uses to get what he wants, but he can’t have Xiao Chen. While Xiao Chen is the opposite, he takes care of the people he loves to make sure they are happy even in the expend of his happiness. I feel if one of the parents accepted them for who they were when they got caught in the first movie, we would see more of a healthy relationship. However, that didn’t happen. This relationship is toxic, and if anyone has a partner who treats them this way, you need to leave. I feel like there are a lot of what-ifs and the concept of the butterfly effect. The end is an open ending, which makes you feel empty and left down. I don’t know if they did this on purpose or because China’s banned came to play for them. We really would never understand. Would I watch it again? Mostly not. Nevertheless, I will watch fan-made video on this couple. I feel like the actors had so much chemistry that you want the couple to be together at the end. However, I have never had my consent taken from me.

If you are destined to be together, you will meet again. When? We don’t know. It shows how love is a flame that can be blown out, and It’s eternal. Would I watch it again? Maybe on a day where I want to watch something sweet and short.

A Round Trip to Love was like this is what happens to lead up to this moment. It what establishes the “get to know the characters.” The beginning is a scene from the second movie. It shows how someone from an absolute wealth has to hide from family and friends. Lu Feng is a character that is very dominated and takes what he wants, which can cause a narrow line of consent to be cross. It does have concerning scene that I would advise the audience to be cautious about if you don’t like those time of theme and scenes. A Round Trip to Love feels like a pilot of a series. You know where you are trying to get to know the main plot of the series. The ending is a cliff-hanger because they came out with a part 2 for the movie. Would I watch it again? I feel like I don’t have enough information from the film to know if I can answer that question correctly and trustworthy.
Us Against The World shows the relationship between two schoolboys that started by admiring each other and fall in love with each other. We see what gossip does to a group of people. It makes people so hateful and breaks relationships off. One of the characters had someone force come out before he could be comfortable with his feelings and accepting himself. We see that the couple at the end are still together even though one of them will lose his popularity to the fact he fell in love. I wish there are more series like this where we see stories of the struggle of a group of people whether it the LGBT+ community, by the color of your skin or your gender. Us Against The World shows the innocent love between two people and the fights of the relationship. I like that fact that this is all true stories. The acting is suitable for people who are still so young. Would I watch it again? Yes, it only 10 minutes long and make you feel happy that their love is strong enough for the struggle they will face.

Long Time No See is an excellent short series that has a unique plotline. The acting is brilliant. In this series, you feel the love they have for each other. I wish it wasn’t so quick and had had the time to developed better. However, this series is an underappreciated series. This series has violence in it. Even though the series is about assassins/hitman, it has it just sweet lovey moments that make you fall in love with the main characters. I would recommend this series if you have about an hour and 30 minutes to waste. The only bad part of the series was the ending. I don’t know why I didn’t like it and its not something you expect from the series. Would you watch it again? Yes, I would watch this and get my friends interested in this. It’s so sweet and lovely.
